WHO WE ARE

Established in 1999, the Bellingen Growers Market (BGM) is a non-profit incorporated association managed by a Steering Committee who work on a voluntary basis.

The Committee consists of stallholders and interested community members. The BGM Association has adopted (and works in adherence to) the model rules for incorporated associations without any modification.  They meet every month to discuss the markets operation and ideas for positive growth.

OUR PURPOSE

• Give local growers and artisans a platform to sell their wares to the local community

• Provide a friendly venue people can shop, socialise and relax

• Build and strengthen community spirit

• Connect producers to community and foster exchanges of knowledge and ideas

• Strengthen local economy by showcasing quality produce and crafts

• Support and promote local musicians and performers

• Support and promote local community groups

CHARTER

The Bellingen Growers Market (BGM) has a Charter outlining the principal rules and guidelines necessary for our market to operate safely, compliantly and efficiently.
All participating stallholders are in agreeance with our Charter.
